17 - Brandon,The Southwest Freedom Riders host a Season Kickoff Barbecue on Saturday, May 17, from 1-5pm at the American Legion Post #55 on Franklin St., live music plus raffles and more, admission is $10.00/person; kids under 12 are free. 18 - Rutland, Bike Blessing & BBQ Fundraiser - Red Knights Motorcycle Club – Vermont Chapter 3 and All Saints' Anglican Church hold bike blessing, Rutland County Sheriff escorted ride, barbecue to follow, all welcome, registration takes place at Ponderosa Steakhouse parking lot, enter at Diamond Run Mall, registration begins at 10 a.m., ride departs at 11 am, $10 a bike, 50/50 cash raffle, music by C & C Music Show, (barbecue $5 per person), Blessing/BBQ at Vermont Police Academy following one hour escorted scenic ride. 12 - Rutland, 25th Anniversary Ron Williams Memorial Poker Run.


13 - Rutland, Red Knights Motorcycle Club – Vermont Chapter 3 - Ride for the Dodge House, Stage at The City of Rutland Fire Station (104 Center St.) Registration 9:00 - 10:00am 75 mile ride leaves at 10:00am sharp. Destination, Franklin's in Proctor, VT  


13 - Rutland, The Homeless Prevention Center holds Poker Run & Cookout, cost $20 per bike, $25 w/passenger, registration 8:30 - 11 am at The Homeless Prevention Center, 56 Howe St., kickstand up at 11 am, leaving from Homeless Prevention Center and ending at the Houglagans Club House, 37 Cain St., Proctor at 3 pm for a cookout, for more information contact Charlie Nassau at 802-770-4374. Proceeds benefit the Homeless Prevention Center.

9 - Rutland, United Motorcyclists of Vermont - Toy Run - United Motorcyclists of VT - 28th Annual Toy Run Staging will be at the Blue Cross parking lot in Berlin, VT starting at around 9:00 AM. We leave for the State House in Montpelier at noon sharp.

10 - Rutland, Red Knights Motorcycle Club – Vermont Chapter 3 - The George Sotrakis Grand Tour Ride


29 - Rutland, Killington Classic Motorcycle Rally Block Party in Downtown Rutland – Motorcycle Parade at 6:30 pm., Live Music with Satin & Steel in the parking pit on Center Street at 7 pm, come see the bikes parading from Killington, over 800 motorcycles visit downtown, many downtown businesses will offer extended hours. 28, 29, 30, 31 - Killington, Killington Classic Motorcycle Touring Rally, The 2014 Killington Classic is 4 days of riding-heaven in the heart of beautiful Vermont, enjoy the riding, shop for your gear, test great motorcycles, and enjoy many special motorcycle events such as concert events, the weekend long marketplace, bike show, themed dinners and more, welcome parade & music, visit

7 - Rutland, Southwest Freedom Riders Remember Rally, meet at the former Midway Dinner parking lot, 120 South Main Street, Route 7, sign in 7:30- 8:30 A.M., Cost is $10/person, proceeds go to Mt. Sinai Hospital's Health for Heroes Program, (802) 775-9901.

5 – Fair Haven, Forget Me Not Ride for Alzheimer’s Awareness, Fair Haven park on Main Street, sign in from 9:30 – 10:30 am, $10 single, $15 couple, 104 mile country ride, ending at a restaurant where food is available, in memory of Donald Rivers Sr. (AKA Papa Duck), call Mark Rivers at 518-812-7857.
