Since 2004, the Rutland Area Farm and Food Link has been working to expand availability and access to locally produced foods, bolster the greater Rutland region’s agricultural economy, and increase community appreciation and understanding of the positive impact of farms and farmers on the Rutland region. In collaboration with statewide partners, RAFFL is helping to conserve Vermont’s working landscapes for future generations.

Rutland Redevelopment Authority
The mission of the Rutland Redevelopment Authority is to enhance economic opportunity and quality of life for Rutland City residents by planning and promoting public and private economic development initiatives which will generate employment opportunities, enhance the grand list, redevelop underutilized structures and properties, and reduce the property tax burden.
Rutland Young Professionals
The Rutland Young Professionals group was formed in 2013 to create opportunities for residents to engage with their community. The group focuses on creating social and professional networking opportunties, and has an overall goal of making the Rutland area attractive to young professionals. There are no membership fees, and the organization does not have a formal membership; anyone who participates in their events can consider themselves a member.
