The National Crime Victim’s Rights Week 2018 Expand the Circle, Reach All Victims Resource Fair is sponsored by the Child First Advocacy Center and the Rutland County State’s Attorney’s Office. The event is intended to promote awareness of the rights and services available to victims of all types of crimes and to acknowledge that each victim is unique.

The Expand the Circle Walk and Resource Fair will take place on April 14, 2018 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Justin Thomas Memorial Park in Rutland, Vermont.

The resource fair will include booths from local service providers and government officials. Those in attendance will include: Child First Advocacy Center, Crime Victim Services- Victim’s Compensation Program, NewStory Center, Rutland County Sheriff’s Department, Rutland County State’s Attorney’s Office, Wonderfeet Kid’s Museum, and many others!

We will be walking alongside Victims, Survivors, Family Members, and the Community to show our support.

All those who come to the event will receive a free National Crime Victim’s Rights Week 2018 tote bag and pen. There will be entertainment, art projects, and a scavenger hunt! Food vendors will also be available.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with our event. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community by providing local victims with the opportunity to learn about the resources available to them.
