May Message From Chris Shaddock

Grateful for the experience…

I am grateful to the Chamber for giving me the good fortune of playing a small role in what is becoming a powerfully positive movement for the Rutland Region.

Special thanks to my team mates Mary Cohen and Penny Inglee, as well as the Board of Directors for allowing me the privilege to serve our community as Director of Business Development for the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce and helping me along the way.

I also want to thank the more than five hundred business leaders I’ve spoken with during my tenure, members and non-members alike, for enhancing my understanding of the challenges you are faced with each and every day to ensure success.

Thank you as well to the thousands of people representing our region’s businesses and their families for supporting all of the Chamber’s events throughout the past two years. Without you we would not be as unique and desirable a community to the northeast as we are now.

I’m proud to call the Rutland Region my home. I’ve raised my children in these mountains and buried my parents here as well. I will always be an ambassador for all the good being accomplished by the RRCC.

However, timing is everything and I’ve always looked at springtime as the season for personal growth. It’s time for me to finish my book on wellness and follow my heart in the direction of my dreams.

Before I move on to pursue my life purpose, I encourage you to continue supporting the Chamber and specifically helping us finish our fiscal year ending June 30th, 2019. The following three pieces are critical to our ability to bringing our community together in a positive way:

  1. The 34th Annual Golf Classic:

  1. Faces of Real Rutland 2019:

  1. The Fireworks Extravaganza:

I want to personally wish all of you continued health, happiness and success…

Thank you,
