Grand Re-Opening of Vermont Marble Museum & Proctor Celebration!

Grand Re-Opening of  Vermont Marble Museum & Proctor Celebration including three round trip Train Rides departing from Downtown Rutland,Vermont!

Saturday, May 23rd from 9am to 6pm

Spectacular Grand Re-Opening of the Vermont Marble Museum and a celebration of all that Proctor has to offer!

Three trains departing Rutland Depot for Proctor’s Main Street Park at 8:30, 11:30, and 2:30. Tickets are $15/adults, $5/Children and may be purchased at Rutland Depot on May 23rd. Limited seats, Last train departs Proctor at 5:30.

Museum highlights include:
-New exhibits
-Marble Cafe & Gift Shop

Proctor highlights include:
-Tours of the Union Church of Proctor’s Tiffany windows and architecture, exhibits, and a Clothing and Bake Sale
-Open House at at the Proctor Fire Station
-Open House at St. Paul’s Church
-Book Sale, planting a Butterfly garden,and painting birdhouses at the Proctor Free Library,
Display on marble lettering and memorials at Proctor Marble

Main Street Park highlights include:
– Proctor High School Jazz Band Concert at noon in the Park-
-Food from Franklin’s, West Street Market, St. Dominic’s Church and Proctor Gas
-A walk down memory lane in Proctor’s historic Sutherland Falls building”…soon to be home of College of St. Joseph’s Physician Assistant Program
-Proctor Prosperity Plan display and information
-New England Maple Museum displays
-Exhibits, Information, fundraisers, and a kids activity and much, much more!

Over 20 groups from Proctor participating including PHS, PES PTO, Proctor Historical Society, Pine Hill Partnership, Crown Point Road Association, Our Yard, Christie Media Works, Tiny Taughts Daycare, and more.

And to top it off at 4:00, Main Street Park’s Gazebo will be flooded with handsome young men and beautiful young ladies dressed to the nines for prom photos! Come to Proctor on May 23rd, and learn, eat, be entertained, and admire! It’s sure to be a fun filled day celebrating all that Proctor has to offer! Join us for a fun filled day!
