Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department 49th Game Supper

Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department’s 49th Annual Game Supper is Saturday November 18.

This famous Vermont event is held at the Tinmouth Community Center, 573 Route 140, Tinmouth beginning at 4 p.m.

Gourmet all you can eat menu includes: venison and moose sauerbraten, game cornbread chili, secret marinated roasts of venison, moose, and bear, smoked moose, wild Italian meatballs. Also: chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes and squash, salads, rolls, beans, and over 100 homemade pies.

Takeouts available.

$15, children 6-12 $10, under 6 free

Earlybirds welcome. No waiting outside. Over 500 served.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Dept.

Pancake Breakfast Buffet

The members of Hiram Lodge #101, F&AM, and those of Gilman Chapter #88, OES, will be putting on our monthly pancake breakfasts for the public to help with raising funds for our charitable projects.

The menu will include pancakes, French Toast, scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, home fries, corned beef hash, coffee, juice, tea, milk, and whatever else that seems appropriate.

2nd Annual Kenya Run

2nd Annual Kenya Run

Date: October 15, 2017

Location: Grace Church, Rutland (West Street Parking Lot)

HEAL Raising Our World Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Grace Congregational Church of Rutland, VT is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Kenya Run, a 5k fun walk/run to benefit HEAL Raising Our World Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded by Rutland native Jennifer Musick Wright.

Currently HEAL is developing a children’s home and secondary school in rural Kenya. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the orphans and vulnerable children cared for by HEAL.

Individual Entry: $20 online if you register before 10/14/17; $25 if you register on the day of the run


Family Entry: $45 online if you register before 10/14/17; $50 if you register on the day of the run

Run for Free When you Raise Money: Help us raise money for the children in Kenya by joining our fundraising team.

Raise a minimum of $50 per runner by October 15, and you can run for FREE!

The top three fundraisers will each win an Amazon Gift Card!

Special Note: No need to register early, just hit your minimum fundraising goal either online or in-person, and you’ll qualify for the free entry fee on the day of the run.

All money should be collected and turned in at check-in beginning at 1:00pm. Sponsorship packets can be found on the HEAL website (www.healraisingourworld.org).
