Eurobuilt Car Show and Charity Auction

Back for it’s 3rd year EUROBUILT will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Vermont State Fairgrounds in Rutland. The fairgrounds are located right on Route 7 (Main Street) in Rutland, within walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, parts stores, car washes and more.

The show is open to all Volkswagen, Audi and Euros. There will be an enthusiast area for non-euro cars as well. The show will feature multiple classes and awards including Best of Show and more! There will be food and vendors as well. No alcohol, No outside grills are allowed. Dogs are fine just clean up after them.

Killington-Pico Rotary Club third Annual Bonfire

The Killington Pico-Rotary Club will be hosting its third annual Bonfire on Sunday, January 14th, from 5:00 to 8:00.

This year, the bonfire will be held at Charity’s Tavern & Restaurant. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Killington-Pico Rotary Club and the Vermont Special Olympics, which will be holding the 2018 Winter games at Pico Mountain on March 18th-20th.

The event starts at 5:00 with the official lighting of the Bonfire at 5:30. We are hoping to have some of the Athletes lead a procession and light the fire with an Olympic torch.

We will be adding some fun events this year, including setting the Killington Record for the longest shot ski at 6:30, a snowball target range for the kids and more

There will be giveaways and raffles. Hot drinks and light snacks will be for sale

Both the Back Bar and Main Bar will be open as well as the full Restaurant.

Charity’s Tavern & Restaurant will happily be accepting donated Holiday Trees for the bonfire for a suggested donation of $10. Please check in with Scott or an employee prior to dropping off trees.

Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department 49th Game Supper

Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department’s 49th Annual Game Supper is Saturday November 18.

This famous Vermont event is held at the Tinmouth Community Center, 573 Route 140, Tinmouth beginning at 4 p.m.

Gourmet all you can eat menu includes: venison and moose sauerbraten, game cornbread chili, secret marinated roasts of venison, moose, and bear, smoked moose, wild Italian meatballs. Also: chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes and squash, salads, rolls, beans, and over 100 homemade pies.

Takeouts available.

$15, children 6-12 $10, under 6 free

Earlybirds welcome. No waiting outside. Over 500 served.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Dept.

The members of Hiram Lodge #101, F&AM, and those of Gilman Chapter #88, OES, will be putting on our monthly pancake breakfasts for the public to help with raising funds for our charitable projects.

The menu will include pancakes, French Toast, scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, home fries, corned beef hash, coffee, juice, tea, milk, and whatever else that seems appropriate.
