Castleton Theater Arts Presents: Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson kicked British butt, shafted the Indians and smacked down the Spaniards, all in the name of these United States – who cares if he didn’t have permission?

Bloody Bloody’s creators cook up an alternate universe with a musical that follows America’s seventh president from his early days as a child on the wild frontier to his controversial reign in the White House. This stunning musical experience was “Hamilton” before “Hamilton” was “Hamilton”–not to be missed!

Tickets for this performance are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, children and Castleton alumni and students.

Castleton Soundings students are eligible for one free ticket with a valid, current Castleton ID. Tickets are available through Castleton Tickets or the Fine Arts Center Box Office.

The show follows the final class of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts from their admission in 1980 to their graduation in 1984. He discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.
Creative costuming and scenery abound, the audience will love the outlandish and larger-than-life human and insect characters.
Presented by award-winning, Rutland Youth Theatre.
