Chris Isaak  is  a non-stop touring Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, actor and talk show host. With his stellar bandmates Silvertone, Isaak’s haunting voice, fierce guitar and glittered outfits have entertained fans for decades.

First Comes the Night  on Vanguard Records is Isaak’s first recording of original songs in six years. It was recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), Paul Worley (Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum), and longtime collaborator Mark Needham.

First Comes the Night is the follow up to Isaak’s 2011 Beyond The Sun masterpiece CD – a breathtaking tribute album to Sun Records, Sam Phillips and the visionary artists who continue to inspire him and helped shape the early sounds of rock ‘n’ roll.

Standout Isaak hits include the iconic “Wicked Game,” “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing” and “Somebody’s Crying.” He has appeared on many TV shows and has acted in several films and starred in Showtime’s The Chris Isaak Show and the Chris Isaak Hour on the Biography Channel.  Isaak, a recent judge on the X-Factor in Australia, performed at the opening of the Super Bowl festivities in San Francisco and was recently profiled on CBS Sunday Morning.

George Thorogood And The Destroyers Rock Party Tour

George Thorogood And The Destroyers Rock Party Tour

Jul 25 2017

8:00 PM

Tickets go on-sale 5/12 @ 10AM
$46, $56, $66

It’s that moment when the house lights go down and the audience erupts: a drumbeat punches through the darkness, and the stage lights – almost blindingly bright at first – reveal a killer band ready to unleash a catalog of classic hits like none other. That familiar snarl of a slide guitar rips open the room, and you know you’re about to experience a bad-to-the-bone icon at his very best.

George Thorogood And The Destroyers are throwing a Rock Party for 2017, and you’re invited.

Even as Thorogood prepares for the release of his first solo album (to be released on Rounder), the new tour promises to raise the bar, rock the house and tear off the roof like never before. “We play for a different audience every night and that keeps it fresh,” he says. “There are people who’ve never seen us before, and we have to impress them. There are fans that keep coming back, and we want to surprise them.” With more than 40 years, 15 million albums sold and 8,000 live shows after it all began, the title ‘professional rock performer’ still means something to the man and his music. “This is my job,” Thorogood says with pride. “I’ve always loved it, and I love it now more than ever.”

From a birthday party in Wilmington to concert stages around the world, it’s been one of the most credible and uncompromising rides in American music. Today, one badder-than-ever guitar-slinger and his band are back to play like they still have something to prove. For George Thorogood And The Destroyers – as well as for millions of fans old & new – the Rock Party starts now.

Miss Lorraine’s Presents – Dream

Miss Lorraine’s Presents – Dream

May 27 2017

Performances at 1pm and 6pm
Adults: $20 / Seniors & 12 and Under: $17

Miss Lorraine opened her first dance studio in the Rutland area in 1968 when she began teaching ballet and tap out of the recreation center on Center Street. She took pride in sharing her love of dance with the community. She was joined by her daughter, Pam, who began teaching her own classes in 1975. Miss Lorraine and Miss Pam taught side by side for decades before Miss Lorraine’s retirement in 2001. Miss Pam continued to run the studio until 2013 when her daughter, Heather took over. Today, Miss Heather is a third generation owner and manager of Miss Lorraine’s School of Dance.

While the studio grew over the years, the sense of family and community that Miss Lorraine founded her studio upon remains the same.

Generations of students have found their love for the art of dance at Miss Lorraine’s.

All of our teachers were students of Miss Lorraine herself, and continue on her legacy every day in every class.
