10th Annual Rutland County Humane Society Dock Diving

Sunday, September 17 at 11 AM – 3 PM

The Palms at Prospect Bay

Registration begins at 11am, practice jumps begin at noon, competition starts at 1:00.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place longest jumps in categories from Novice to Pro.

There is a $10. entry fee for Dogs, and donation for spectators.

Stop by to watch or compete, and enjoy an afternoon of fun on beautiful Lake Bomoseen.

Dog Days Of Summer Pool Party

Dog Days Of Summer Pool Party

Let your favorite pooch enjoy the end of summer with a dip in the pool!

There will be a free swim for dogs throughout the event (dogs only!), along with games and fun activities for you and your dog.

All proceeds go towards the care of homeless animals in our community.

Dogs must be leashed, except when in the pool, and Vermont law requires that all dogs are up to date on their rabies shots. Puppies under 4 months old and dogs in heat will not be allowed to participate. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.

$5.00 Donation per dog, Donation for people.

Table 24’s 9th Anniversary Charity Golf Classic

Table 24’s 9th Anniversary Charity Golf Classic

Join Table 24 at Green Mountain National Golf Course as they celebrate our 9th Anniversary on the golf course!

It will be a great day of golf, food and fun with friends as we raise money to support the Rutland County Humane Society!

Entry fee includes golf, cart, lunch on the golf course, tee gift and a delicious dinner at Table 24 during our Awards Ceremony. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction, as well as other great games and contests of “skill.”

This is a fun, relaxed “Captain & Crew / Scramble” format and golfers of all ability levels are encouraged to play. If you don’t have a team, but would like to play, sign-up and we’ll be sure to match you with a great crew.

If would like to sponsor a hole, or donate a prize for our raffle or silent auction to support this event , your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

Table 24 strongly believes in giving back to our community and we are proud to donate all proceeds from our tournament to our four legged friends and all their “helpers” at the RCHS!

Many new and slightly used items will be for sale, ranging from items for your pet to beautiful things for your home.

Check out our half price sale at noon, bag sale at 1:00.

Join us for a fun day of treasure hunting to support the care of homeless animals in our community.

Drop off times: Wednesday 5/17 4-6pm, Thursday 5/18 4-7pm, Friday 5/19 8am to 6pm.

We cannot accept electronics, tires, mattresses, appliances, clothing, broken, recalled or smelly items.

The profits from this benefit will go to the Rutland County Humane Society.

Please stop by and have your pets photos taken. Owners are welcome in the photos as well!

Photos start as low as $5 and packages start as low as $20!

I will provide holiday backdrops, and props.

Rutland County Humane Society Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, October 9, 2pm.

In Honor of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals, please join the Rutland County Humane Society and Reverend Muller, of Trinity Church in Rutland, for the Blessing of the Animals.

Bring your pet, or a picture of your pet, for a special blessing by Reverend Muller.

All dogs must be leashed, and cats and other pets must be in secure carriers.

The ceremony will be held outside on the Humane Society lawn, and all are welcome.

Rutland County Humane Society “Duck Derby”

Rutland County Humane Society “Duck Derby”

September 18, 2016 2:00 pm — 4:00pm

On Sunday, September 18 at 2 pm hundreds of plastic ducks will race to the finish line in a stream at Giorgetti Park.

These colorful ducks will win cash prizes for their adopters.

Money raised will support the programs and homeless animals at RCHS.  You can participate by “adopting” ducks.

A single duck is $3, a Quack Pack (4 ducks) is $10 and a 6 Quack (6 ducks) is $15.
