The dance will be held on February 23 from 4-6 p.m at The Palms Ballroom. Couple/family photos will be taken for purchase after the event.

WonderGrow Gardening Experience

Participate in the miracle of planting a garden with Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum WonderGrow Gardening Experience.

This series of programming has explored seedlings, planting, and garden upkeep.

Gardens all over the community have continued to grow.

The next two parts of this series will explore harvesting, preparing your garden for winter, and what you can continue to grow indoors during the winter months.

This program will help little gardeners grow their skills along with Wonderfeet’s window garden in the Great Vegetation Transformation.

Lip Sync Battle

Lip Sync Battle

We’re excited to bring you a generous portion of play on Saturday, May 5th at 6 p.m.

A Lip Sync Battle live on stage at the Paramount Theatre will be an evening of entertainment a speculative audience will regret to have missed. Teams of local residents will lift spirits and show off our vibrant community.

Teams will gear up for a night of determination, sheer talent and fun. Judges will award points for accuracy, creativity, and choreography to select the semi-finalists. The audience will participate by text-to-vote to select the winning team. With much anticipation and team preparation, these teams promise to put on a great show and work hard for your votes.

All proceeds will benefit Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum, located at 11 Center Street in Rutland, operations including outreach and ongoing exhibits and programs to meet the needs of our community.

Shiver Me Shamrocks 5K Fun Run/Walk

About This Activity

Kick off St.Patrick’s Day weekend by running or walking in the fourth annual Shiver Me Shamrocks St. Patty’s Day 5K Run/Walk on March 17, 2018 at 1pm to benefit the Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum in Rutland, Vermont.

Event details and schedule

The first 250 registered runners/walkers will receive a FREE nordic hat! Don’t wait, register today! Every registered runner and walker will receive a drink ticket to be used at Hop n’ Moose during the after party.

Race day registration is $35 and will be available at the Heritage Family Credit Union West Street branch at noon.

Kids will begin the day with the FREE Leprechaun Leap Fun Run down Center Street at 1pm. Prizes for best costume!

Race prizes for overall first place Men & Women and first place in each age group for both Men & Women will be announced at the after party at Hop n’ Moose. Men’s, Women’s and Kid’s Best Costume will also be awarded at the after party so be sure to wear your green.

After your run, get hydrated and stay for the post-race party at The Hop’n Moose downtown. There will be raffle drawings, music, drink and food specials and lots of fun. Even if you aren’t running or walking plan to stop down and celebrate!

No dogs allowed. Strollers are highly discouraged due to the poor road and sidewalk conditions this time of year.

Come and join us for a friendly uplifting fun afternoon. Enjoy the magic of the enchanting home of the Forest Fantasy with Wonderfeet.

Nestling in the lea of a hill where time stood still for hundreds of years surrounded the mighty pines, tree spirits, and woodland creatures, live the Forest Folk, under every leaf, behind every tree you might see them.

Walk around and gather the amazing healing energy the forest gives to all of us, engage with the Forest Folk, and explore the activities and crafts.

The afternoon will be packed with entertainment and activities for the whole family. Handmade arts and crafts help us to discover the magic of nature.

Music and contra dancing will heighten our senses with love and joy. Let your spirit run wild and free!

Saturday, September 16 from 11 a.m – 2 p.m.

Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum 3rd Annual Wonderpaws Festival & Paw Parade, a community event for all ages to enjoy a day in downtown Rutland with their dogs presented by Pet Gear and media sponsor The Mountain Times, will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017, on Center Street from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The kid-friendly and dog-friendly festival features demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, crafts, an obstacle course, a hay maze, activities, photo opportunities, food and more. A raffle of Pet Gear merchandise will be open to all. The Paw Parade will take place at noon.

The event is free and open to the public.

All dogs must register to participate. Registration and $10 per dog fee include participation in the Paw Parade, a token of appreciation for all participants, be entered to win a mystery prize and the opportunity to win a judges’ choice award in categories such as best pet/owner look-a-like, most entertaining, wildest wag and much more.

Pre-register online at www.WonderfeetKidsMuseum.org/PawParade or registration begins at 10 a.m. the day of the event.

The Wonderpaw Festival fundraiser will directly benefit Wonderfeet for capital projects and the community with educational programs.

The festival will feature many kid-friendly and dog-friendly activities and demonstrations. In addition, visitors may explore dog-related vendors and specialists. Exhibitor and vendor opportunities available.
