During this extra frosty winter season, the Chamber would like to extend a warm welcome to McNeil & Reedy, our newest member!
Downtown Rutland: Home to McNeil & Reedy Since 1956
Merchants Row in Downtown Rutland has been home to McNeil & Reedy since 1956. Founded by James McNeil and operated today by the McNeil twins, John and Jim, it is entering its 3rd generation of family ownership.
Our Business is Making Men Look Good in Suits
Ask anyone if they’re familiar with McNeil & Reedy and it’s certain the first thing they’ll mention is the remarkably warm, friendly service of the brothers. “Our business is in making men look good, so their clothing has to fit properly,” said Jim McNeil. “We have all the resources in house to ensure that nobody leaves our shop without looking sharp. That’s how we built our reputation – by making men look like a million bucks! Whether it’s a suit, or sport jacket or rental tuxedo or suit, we will measure you up and do all the tailoring right here in our shop. We also do alterations on garments purchased elsewhere, so we’d like everyone to know that Rutland’s best tailor is right here in Downtown Rutland!”
John added, “Most people know we carry a full line of formalwear for weddings and proms and classic suits and business-casual attire for all ages. Not everyone is aware we also have a wide selection of resortwear and popular streetwear for younger men in their 20’s and 30’s and 40’s.”
We couldn’t be prouder to have these fine merchants of McNeil & Reedy joining us, so stop in and say hello, and welcome John and Jim to the chamber!
