StartUp Rutland, the technology-driven business accelerator and venture capital fund for the Rutland region is pleased to report that it’s early adopter candidate, Tacitly, Inc. has been selected for the latest cohort of LaunchVT.
The team at Tacitly, led by serial entrepreneur Jeff DeJarnette has posted two wins in as many weeks. In addition to joining the 12-week LaunchVT program the Southern Vermont AHEC Area Health Education Center recently awarded the team a $5000 grant which was immediately put to good use adding to their fleet of Meta Quest Pro’s.
This is what Jeff had to say about recent events for his firm: ‘We are thrilled to announce that we have acquired a fleet of Quest Pro’s, thanks to the support of Jennifer L. Scott, PsyD, ABPP and Southern Vermont AHEC. These HMDs will allow us to scale up our testing for CodeCartXR software and train more healthcare professionals on emergency preparedness with code carts in Extended Reality. We’re looking forward to our upcoming first beta tests with over 50 graduate nursing students, nursing instructors, and healthcare professionals at University of Vermont, Castleton University, and Bennington College.
