Whoopie Pie Festival

Rutland’s Whoopie Pie Festival brings over seven-thousand people to historic downtown Rutland in a single afternoon. Over a dozen vendors from the Northeast offer whoopie pie samples as they compete for the “People’s Choice Award,” “Overall Best,” and “Most Creative.” Center Street and Merchants Row shut down, a portion of a street turns into a grass-covered “Green Street” with activities for all. Street performers and musicians entertain throughout the family-friendly event.
