Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers via a variety of correspondence methods. This position performs sales and service functions in the areas of quoting, customer specifications, order entry and product delivery with direct interface with customers. This position supports the Sales Department in meeting customer needs and works closely with our production operations on quality and timely order fulfillment and delivery. § Write product specifications, including raw materials, printing, and delivery requirements, and coordinate sample product assembly and review. § Prepare price quotations based on customer specifications and Company products and services guidelines. § Process customer orders and answer customer inquiries on products, services, pricing, order status. § Maintain effective customer relationships with assigned accounts and manage all aspects of the sales and service functions associated with these assigned accounts. § Interface with other Carris Reels locations, as customer needs dictate. § Maintain inventory management database for assigned accounts and process product orders accordingly. § Generate customer nonconformance reports and coordinate product returns or replacements as needed. § Research and rectify customer issues and/or discrepancies with order fulfillment, counts, deliveries, and invoicing. § Coordinate production scheduling with operations team for timely order fulfillment and delivery via Carris truck or other freight carrier. § Handle continuous customer inquiries, both internal and external, and maintain customer commitment and follow-through as required. § Create and analyze sales reports as requested. § Assist the sales department in generating packaging solutions or alternatives to new/existing customers. § Provide administrative and operational support to the sales department and site office. § Coordinate and manage trade shows, ads, memberships and subscriptions. § Other duties as assigned. Qualifications § High school diploma required. § Additional training, education and/or related work experience in business sales is preferred. § Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external relations. § Time management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. § Initiative and independent judgment, empowered to make timely decisions when situations require it. § Accuracy and attention to detail. § Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM software. § Problem Solving Skills § Ability to travel; some overnight stays may be required (occasional) § Open to growing into a position such as Inside Sales Manager and/or moving into an outside sales role in the future, as market conditions and skills dictate. |
