This dynamic leader embodies our values of equity, wellness, and trust-based supervision, fostering an environment where employees are empowered to lead with autonomy while receiving the support and accountability they need. The Program Director will support effective training for staff and volunteers to address the impact of harm, provide conflict-resolution, and successful outcomes for participants. The programs supported by the Program Director work with sensitive populations, including individuals with convictions for serious offenses (such as sex offenses and murder), BIPOC/2STLGBQIA+ individuals, at-risk youth (ages 10+), unhoused populations, people encountering the criminal justice system, and those with mental health or substance use challenges. The Program Director must be willing to work with, supervise, and, at times, manage high-profile cases involving these marginalized groups. The role requires a strong commitment to restorative practices, community engagement, and equitable solutions for all clients. The Director will collaborate regularly with community partners to ensure we have great working relationships with referring partners. The Director will make sure all cases are properly documented including quarterly narratives, participant number reporting, and any other requirements related to program tracking. Supervision, Employee Evaluation, and Case Support (30% – 12 Hours) • Promote work-life balance that empowers employees and encourages authenticity by providing resources to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. • Model vulnerability, transparency, accountability, and empathy in leadership. • Supervise restorative justice cases for each employee at least monthly to ensure effective case management and resolution including case-specific guidance. • Conduct quarterly employee evaluations and an annual review to provide feedback and support professional and personal development. • Train incoming staff and current staff on programs including case management, state CRM’s and evaluation tools, etc. 2. Community Collaboration/Partner Meetings and Training (20% – 8 Hours) • Deliver workshops, community events, and trainings focused on transparency, equity, and program understanding. • Organize and participate in collaboration meetings with external partners and stakeholders (e.g., Project Vision, Rut Stat, DOC Partner Meetings). • Maintain regular communication with organizations that are referral/MOU partners. • Represent the organization at public forums, conferences, programmatic funders meetings, and community events to raise awareness of restorative justice and equity practices. 3. Program Development and Assessment (20% – 8 Hours) • Co-lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that emphasize community healing, conflict resolution, and accountability. • Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. 4. Volunteer Recruitment and Retention (15% – 6 Hours) • Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers for program activities. • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment to retain volunteers, ensuring they receive the necessary resources, mentorship, and relevant program trainings. • Plan and execute an annual Volunteer Appreciation Day to acknowledge their contributions. 5. Case Reporting and Data Analysis (15% – 6 Hours) • Prepare reports on program performance, outcomes, and insights to share with funders. • Collaborate with the Justice and Belonging Coordinator to ensure practices are equity-driven and address systemic barriers for marginalized communities. • Engage stakeholders ensuring programs evolve responsively to community needs. • Generate mandated reports for Child Protective Services and/or Adult Protective Services in compliance with legal requirements when needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*: Master’s degree in psychology, human services, social work, mediation/peace keeping, education, or a related field and 1-2 years of supervision experience -OR- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, social work, mediation/peace keeping education, or a related field and 3-4 years of supervision experience -OR- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of supervision experience. *Not all people will meet all these qualifications, if you still think you would be a good fit, please apply! MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Deep commitment to integrating equity into all aspects of program development, community engagement, supervision, and organizational practices. • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated commitment to employee wellness, including fostering work-life balance and providing emotional and professional support. • Intensive interpersonal skills foster positive relationships and create a culture of trust. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, that engage a variety of stakeholders, including employees, volunteers, community partners, and funders. • Proven ability to lead and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and public speaking engagements focused on restorative justice and equity. • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with external organizations, community stakeholders, and government agencies. • Analytical skills to assess program effectiveness through data, feedback, and outcomes. • Experience preparing detailed reports for leadership, funders, and stakeholders, including data-driven insights and narratives. • Technological proficiency in: Microsoft Suite, Canva, Share Point, and state-related CRMs • Can pass a background check/be fingerprinted, have a valid driver’s license and vehicle that they are willing to transport clients / volunteers in, and can work in the US. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising cases and programs. • Experience working with historically marginalized communities and a demonstrated ability to address systemic barriers. • Experience in co-leading the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of restorative justice programs that focus on community healing, accountability, and conflict resolution. • Experience in recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers. • Experience organizing and executing events, such as Volunteer Appreciation Days, to recognize and retain volunteers.
