About the Role:
The Adult Clinical Programs Manager provides guidance, instruction, direction, leadership and support to Adult Clinical Program’s clinical services including but not limited to supervisors, clinicians, and embedded case managers. This position oversees intake assessment processes, disposition processes, direct supervision of staff, team cohesion, collaboration with community partners, and explores innovative ways to expand services. The Adult Clinical Programs Manager maintains a close working relationship with all members of the treatment team to ensure delivery of services to clients in an efficient and expedient manner while delivering a high quality of trauma informed, person-centered, recovery-oriented care. The Adult Clinical Programs Manager works closely in collaboration with the Program Director and utilizes regular supervision. This role is responsible for assisting in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating staff, inclusive of performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general oversight and daily management of clinical services and supports.
- Provide oversight and regular supervision of direct reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with community partners.
- Provide trainings as requested in areas of expertise.
- Manage incoming referrals, disposition of new clients, and waitlist as necessary.
- Foster an integrated model of care, supporting co-occurring treatment.
- Provide thorough, supportive, educational, empowering, and professionally challenging clinical supervision and guidance to direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or other related field required.
- License or License Eligible in the State of VT.
- Minimum of five years of experience in human services field.
- Dual License with LADC and/or experience providing Substance Use Treatment preferred.
- Previous supervisory preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
