The company has been experiencing consistent growth with a very strong pipeline and we have an immediate opening for a Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for supporting multiple high-end projects from proposal to completion, organizing and gathering information to ensure superior execution. There is excellent growth potential with this opportunity, we are looking for a long-term hire. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: – Project management including communication with architects, contractors, sub-contractors, clients and vendors from start to finish including tracking communication and document distribution / approvals. – Read prints and specifications to understand all aspects of a project and identify project inconsistencies or conflicts with the team. – Analyze project requirements, define scope, determine resource requirements, help establish production schedules and budgets, while attending subcontractor meetings. – Help create, organize and maintain files related to the project such as initial inbound inquiries, change orders, client specifications, architectural submissions and engineering submissions. – Formulate and submit RFP’s – Purchase project related specialty materials i.e. glass, hardware and other specialty items. – Request and submit submittals for samples in conjunction with engineering/drafting department. – Negotiate accurate contracts and change orders with contractors, customers and/or architects and coordinate billing / invoicing with office. – Work with production team to review job requirements, manage changes in drawings and coordinate project schedules, including onsite coordination. – Ensure adherence to contract specifications and be involved constructively in quality control. – Communicate clearly and effectively with company management and production team to manage deadlines and timelines. – Take a team player approach to all projects while also being able to work independently with minimal direction. Desired Background: – Project management or the equivalent experience with a reputable firm. – A college degree is preferred, but not required. – Experience with AutoCAD and/or other engineering software. – High proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs. – Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines. – Detail oriented – Knowledge of architectural millwork and construction processes. – Custom window and door construction, millwork, cabinetry, glazing and/or hardware related experiences preferred. – Have a positive, high service orientated job mentality. – Ability to travel and visit building sites for meetings, measurements, and other job specific gatherings as – needed, including the occasional need for an overnight stay. – Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary. – This is an in-person position, remote candidates will not be considered. |
