Following the success of the Restart Vermont Technical Assistance (ReVTA) Program in supporting businesses impacted by COVID-19, the Regional Development Corporations (RDCs) of Vermont have been tapped as regional partners as part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP).
Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) has been chosen as one of 51 grantees nationwide, to be part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP). Using a “hub and spoke” model, VtSBDC is leveraging partnerships with trusted community-based organizations to reduce barriers that all small businesses —including those owned by disadvantaged groups such as veterans, women, BIPOC business owners, and those from rural communities—often face in accessing critical support.
As a CNPP “spoke,” CEDRR will help to coordinate critically important technical assistance to businesses and organizations impacted by COVID. This includes learning to adapt to new practices, retrofit physical spaces, and access new technology. This program hires Vermont-based technical assistance providers to support Vermont-based businesses through their continued COVID recovery.
