Community Care Network is looking for an Early Childhood Intake Clinician to join our team!
The Early Childhood Intake Clinician is responsible for providing Clinical Assessment, brief Psychotherapy, Community Supports, Service Coordination and Consultation to children from the Early Childhood Mental Health and MMH/Peer Support referral list, and walk-ins. The Intake Clinician also meets the need for urgent assessments on a walk-in basis. The Intake Clinician will provide exceptional customer-service and psychoeducation to prospective and new client families. The Intake Clinician will participate in community partner meetings as appropriate to facilitate relationships with referring parties. The Intake Clinician will interface with the agency Access Team as needed to stay up to date with agency practices and procedures for Intake, Assessment and service provision. The Intake Clinician assists case managers on the team with required Re-assessments. The Intake Clinician may work during nontraditional service hours to meet client needs.
The Intake Clinician will have a mixed case load that includes serving families with other evidence-based modalities, such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy, ARC (Attachment/Regulation/Competence) and other evidence-based treatment modalities. The Clinician provides services in accordance and as defined by the Vermont Department of Mental Health. The Clinician conducts these services in accordance with accepted professional and ethical standards. The Clinician works closely with other community partners and referral sources.
