Community Care Network is looking for a Child Outpatient Clinician to join our team in Rutland, Vermont.

About the Role:
The Child Outpatient Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to meet the customer service, quality and overall goals of Rutland Mental Health Services. Meet the program’s uniquely-defined internal/external compliance standards and performance measures. Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal/external professional staff to provide quality coordinated services. Provide direct service to clients and families. Services shall include, but are not limited to clinical assessment, treatment planning, service planning and coordination, community supports and individual, family and group psychotherapy sessions. Provide appropriate professional development leadership and training to clinical and other agency staff as defined by Child and Family Outpatient Program Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of all billable and non-billable service and documentation in the EHR.
- Discuss all cases in supervision including more rapid access for client and family situations where there is a risk of harm, abuse or neglect, a major traumatic event, a change of legal status, criminal behavior or relevant ethical issues.
- Provides volume of clinical services per week as defined by Child and Family Outpatient Program Manager.
- Maintains caseload size as defined by Child and Family Outpatient Program Manager.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Master’s level Human Service degree required.
- Vermont State license required after 5 years (Rostering allowed per OPR rule)
- Experience in psychological treatment of adults, children and families.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to appropriately utilize supervision as needed.
- Able to work independently, part of a team and exercise mature and professional judgment.
- Capable of being a self-starter and ability to coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Flexible, adaptable and have the capability to work in a fast paced, professional environment.
- Proficient using computer and necessary software as well as experience with navigating an Electronic Medical Record to complete client documentation.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
