About the Role:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for working closely with the Manager of Adult Clinical Programs to provide oversight, structure, guidance, to clinicians. This position is responsible for managing vacation time, call-outs, conflicts, coverage, providing the appropriate supervision and guidance to a variety of clinicians. In addition, this position is responsible for working collaboratively with the program manager in hiring new clinicians including pre-screening, interviewing schedule, and training. This position includes both providing clinical supervision, and direct clinical care. Direct client care includes evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to individuals seeking clinical support. Clinical services include both individual and group psychotherapy.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly individual supervision to direct reports
- Attend all meetings as requested.
- Participate in all trainings as requested by supervisor
- Be available for assistance to direct reports and broader team as needed
- Ensure that all evaluations for staff supervised are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that staff attend and are compliant in all mandatory trainings
- Performance management as necessary
- Collaborate with community partners, provide community outreach, coordinate with external stakeholders as requested.
- Maintains flexibility in being able to work with different individuals as needed due to potential staff shortages, emergencies, etc.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a Human Services Field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, etc.)
- Licensed or License Eligible in the State of Vermont
- Willing to be Rostered as a non-licensed psychotherapist upon hire if not Licensed in VT.
- Previous experience providing services and support to adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use preferred.
- Must be client centered, trauma informed, and recovery oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- *Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
