Happy December,
Thanks to all who attended our 118th Annual Meeting on November 15th! It was a great celebration at the Paramount Theater and we were thrilled to be able to review the year and share what’s ahead for the Chamber. It was also great fun to recognize Greg Cox as the Business Person of the Year! His significant contributions to the agriculture industry in our region are worthy of being acknowledged and we congratulate him on this award. A special thanks to GE Aviation for sponsoring this event as well as Roots, The Paramount, Vibe Photography and C&C Music Show for their contributions.
We would also like to congratulate Killington Resort on a fantastic World Cup Event over the Thanksgiving Weekend! The atmosphere was electric and we were thrilled to be up there giving away Killington Valley Stickers for our new marketing initiative and launching our Killington Valley Website (Read More)!
On December 21st, I will be a “Celebrity Waitress” at the Southside Steakhouse to benefit the Rutland Community Cupboard. The Cupboard is such an important organization in our community as they help with emergency food for so many in need. The Event is great fun with a festive atmosphere and all the generous tips get donated to the Cupboard. It is being held the first 3 Wednesdays in December and I, along with many other community members, would love to wait on you on December 21st. Call for a reservation (802)772-7556.
