Objective: • Support lending team by efficiently processing and closing loan requests across all lending products • Collaborate with lending team to review, complete, and process applications • Perform diverse duties as needed in a collaborative environment and as part of a small teamCore Competencies: • Attention to detail; task oriented • Time management, Prioritization, and Organization • Ability to work independently and take initiative, employ critical thinking skills • Effective communication, customer service, and diversity awareness • Demonstrate a clear understanding of mortgage lending and consumer loan compliance and best practicesPrimary Responsibilities: • Courteous communication with customers throughout the loan process • Review loan applications for accuracy; identify missing documents/information; follow up with the customer; create efficient and effective loan process • Follow consistent process in order to maintain loan file integrity • Manage loan closing calendar and request loan funding within service level agreements • Prepare loan disclosures, approval letters, loan closing documents; coordinate loan closings; utilize eSign module for remote closings • Provide support to other team members including general administrative tasks The primary and secondary responsibilities outlined in this job description represent the general nature and level of work performed. Experience and Education: • A minimum of 3 years of experience in processing and closing loans. • A minimum of 5 years in a customer service role. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe • Proficient BytePro or comparable Loan Origination System • Proficient in Salesforce • High School Diploma or GED Other Expectations: • Primarily in office with remote work options • Ongoing continuing education to stay current with best practices in CDFI lending • Minimal travel expected • Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, climbing and walking; sitting for extended periods of time using keyboard and computer; safely moving or lifting objects up to 40 pounds.
