In Mid-July, Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) launched the latest phase in Rutland County’s Regional Marketing Initiative – known as Real Rutland – to attract new residents to the Rutland Region. The latest phase is designed to attract new workers to the region to increase the local workforce.
At the launch event, CEDRR Executive Director, Lyle Jepson, shared a preview of a relocation incentive program that would be specific to Rutland County. Without giving too much away, Jepson shared the program was expected to launch within a month and be made available to individuals and families moving into Rutland County.
Last week, Real Rutland’s Relocation Incentive Program was made live with new outbound marketing materials made available which quickly resulted in an influx of new interested families considering a move to our region.
“We are so grateful to our regional sponsors who are supporting this incentive program to bring new individuals and families to our region to fill our jobs, engage with our community, and build their lives here,” says Jepson. “Our concierge team remains ready and willing to support new residents into Rutland County.”
The incentive program is available for 30 families on a first-come-first-served basis and is valued at over $2,000 per package and the application process is available through December 1, 2021, or while prizes and incentives last. To be eligible, you must relocate to Rutland County, Vermont within 6-months of being entered into the program.
