Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department 49th Game Supper

Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Department’s 49th Annual Game Supper is Saturday November 18.

This famous Vermont event is held at the Tinmouth Community Center, 573 Route 140, Tinmouth beginning at 4 p.m.

Gourmet all you can eat menu includes: venison and moose sauerbraten, game cornbread chili, secret marinated roasts of venison, moose, and bear, smoked moose, wild Italian meatballs. Also: chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes and squash, salads, rolls, beans, and over 100 homemade pies.

Takeouts available.

$15, children 6-12 $10, under 6 free

Earlybirds welcome. No waiting outside. Over 500 served.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Tinmouth Volunteer Fire Dept.

Sara’s Stories Chili Cook Off

Sara’s Stories Chili Cook Off

It is time for the 2nd annual Chili Cook-Off to benefit Sara’s Stories!

Sara’s Stories is a program in Pittsford that gives books to residents ages 0-5 throughout the year, in memory of Sara Gallipo.

Saturday, October 14th at 11:30 am

Lothrop Elementary School Gym, 3447 US Route 7, Pittsford

1st Prize: $250

2nd Prize: $150

3rd Prize: $75

Registration begins at 11:00 am.

Please bring a crockpot of chili, a serving spoon and $5 to enter your chili. Or come and make a donation at the door to taste and vote for your favorite chili!

Great family fun for a great cause! Come and get your Sara’s Stories book for the month of October at this event too!

7th Annual Bella Notte: A Beautiful Night for Giving

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Southwest Region requests the honor of your presence at an evening of celebration.

Come enjoy good company, fine fare, laughter, and the excitement of a live auction on Sunday, September 24th graciously hosted by Wally Sabotka at theSouthside Steakhouse in Rutland.

Cocktails at 5pm, dinner at 6pm with the live action to follow.

Proceeds benefit our Hospice Program and help offset the costs of charitable and underinsured care,  therapies and comfort items for hospice patients, medical equipment, bereavement support and staff, volunteer and community education.

The Rutland County Humane Society will be hosting our 6th annual Duck Derby at 2pm, on Sunday, September 24, at the Pittsford Recreation Area.

The next restoration fundraiser for the Wilson Castle has been scheduled! The event will start at 8:00 p.m. on 9/23/17 and go until 1:00 a.m.

This is a BYOB event, so bring your coolers & let’s kick off the season with a fully decorated Haunted Castle Masquerade!

There will be refreshments served throughout the night, which is included in the ticket price.

PLUS, a guarantee that someone from your party will be chosen to participate in the interactive gameshow which includes prizes!

There will be a special online group discount price of $80 for 4 tickets. That’s $20 in savings, but when the group tickets sell out, they’re gone!

There are also “General Admission + Guaranteed Game Show Contestant” tikets available. These will guarantee that you are picked as a contestant for one of the game shows. There are only a few available, so get them before they sell out!

The Vermont Great 2-4-6-8K Run, Walk, Relay is a chance to enjoy all that downtown Rutland has to offer.

Please join us for an afternoon and evening of health, fun, and socializing, all while benefiting Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Foley Cancer Center.

Raise awareness and funds by running in honor of a friend or loved one who can’t be there.

The race course loops you around and through historic downtown Rutland.  The various distances make this an event for all fitness levels.

Enjoy the post-race party featuring food, beer, music.  Individual and team photos will be available.

This will be a truly inspiring program & an opportunity for you to help make in a difference.

Riverside Veterinary Care and Dental Services presents Parks for Paws Summer Social!

11 am – 3 pm

Riverside Veterinary Care is partnering up with Parks for Paws, who will be building dog parks in Rutland and West Rutland.

They are in need of more money to get the ball rolling!

We will be raising money to provide local dog parks which will give dogs a safe place to socialize. This will make the community pets safer and the community cleaner with designated pet social areas.

The Summer Social will include: Ice Cream, Dog wash, nail trimming booth, Dog Kissing Booth, Raffle, doggie pools, and more!

Be on the lookout for more information as it comes available.

We look forward to seeing you and your furbabies as we give back to the community!

Please note that parking is limited near Riverside. Parking along side streets where permitted is highly recommended as there will be no parking at Riverside.
