Brandon’s 42nd Independence Day Celebration
Come celebrate the Fourth of July at Brandon’s 42nd Annual Independence Day Celebration Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th, 2018.
Friday, July 6th
The fun begins Friday at the family friendly Street Dance from 6PM-10PM with music for all ages by DJ Jam Man Entertainment & food vendors. Fun for all ages in Seminary Park (Just around the corner & up the hill from Town Offices & Town Hall). Off street parking available with free shuttles.
Saturday, July 7th
The fun moves North to Park Village Complex (Route 7 North of Brandon) with activities and events ALL DAY LONG:
* Annual Silent Auction -Wide variety of items for all ages including day passes to VT attractions, gift baskets, a host of local options for lodging, locally made artwork, gift certificates for restaurants, services and local events & more. Come bid!
* Family Games including karaoke & the infamous Swiss Roll eating contest
* Variety of vendors and food
* The best Independence Day PARADE likely to be found anywhere in the Country at 1PM
* Live music with concert by Moose Crossing following the parade
* Community Supper 5-7 PM
* DJ Jam Man spinning family favorites
* FIREWORKS display at Dusk. Join us for a spectacular display by NorthStar Fireworks!
* Plenty of onsite parking (including handicap accessible) PLUS convenient FREE shuttles from downtown running ALL DAY LONG

Come and join us for a friendly uplifting fun afternoon. Enjoy the magic of the enchanting home of the Forest Fantasy with Wonderfeet.
Nestling in the lea of a hill where time stood still for hundreds of years surrounded the mighty pines, tree spirits, and woodland creatures, live the Forest Folk, under every leaf, behind every tree you might see them.
Walk around and gather the amazing healing energy the forest gives to all of us, engage with the Forest Folk, and explore the activities and crafts.
The afternoon will be packed with entertainment and activities for the whole family. Handmade arts and crafts help us to discover the magic of nature.
Music and contra dancing will heighten our senses with love and joy. Let your spirit run wild and free!

This year all the fun & events will be at one central location in Park Village on Rte. 7 north of town, as Route 7 improvements are taking place downtown.
The fun begins Friday at 5PM in Park Village with the opening of the Silent Auction, plenty of food choices including burgers & dogs, cotton candy, popcorn & more!
Bid on a great item, grab a bite to eat then come bust a move at the Street Dance from 6PM-10PM with DJ Jam Man Entertainment. Bring the kids to dance, dance, dance….. at the Neshobe Family Medicine Parking lot with plenty of parking nearby, or take the convenient shuttle from Central Park near Hannaford’s.
Saturday, July 1st the fun continues at Park Village with:
* Annual Silent Auction -Bid on beautiful locally made furniture, artwork, gift certificates & more in the North Campus Gymnasium at Park Village Open Fri 5-9PM, Sat 10-1 (closed for parade) Last bids in by 3PM, Pickup 3:30-5PM
* Family Games of all sorts in the Center Green of Park Village 10AM-12:45 PM, 2:30-5PM
* Karaoke for all ages 10AM-12:45PM
* Magic Show to delight and amaze
* Two 50/50 Raffles. Tickets on sale beginning at the Route 7 Segment Six Party near Town Hall on 5/21
* The best Independence Day PARADE likely to be found anywhere in the Country, headed by the Vermont National Guard 40th Army Band! 1PM
* Enjoy great music at the Keating Five Concert following the parade on the center Green of Park Village
* Delicious BBQ with a variety of delicious foods available – come picnic! 5-7PM
* DJ Jam Man will be spinning family favorites on Saturday night from 6 pm- 9 pm
* FIREWORKS at Dusk. Join us for a spectacular display by Northstar Fireworks
* Plenty of onsite parking (including handicap accessible) PLUS a convenient FREE shuttle from downtown
