Join us to kick off Summer Vacation with a proper block party!
From 11-2 on Saturday, June 10th, we’ll have games, grilled food, activities, bike workshops and races, live music, local organizations tabling about their summer opportunities and resources, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
Our Summer Festival is for residents of all ages.
Our hope is to continue the community’s effort to stay connected by inviting local organizations to table at this event about their summer services (health, job/internship opportunities, summer support for parents with children, free lunches, etc.) all while having fun outdoors!
What: Summer Festival
Where: Park Ave, Rutland (between Pine Street and Harrison Ave)
When: Saturday, June 10, 11:00am- 2:00pm- block closed to vehicles along Park Ave.
Thanks to TAG VISION and all of our community sponsors for making this event possible!
We have room for more day-of volunteers (food preparation, activity management, etc.), sponsors, and organizations who would still like to table. If you are interested in participating in any of these capacities, please contact Shannon Kennelly at NeighborWorks of Western Vermont.
