Music at The Moose: Heart to Heart

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our show with Robert Wuagenaux is cancelled this weekend. However, we are proud present in his stead, Heart to Heart!

Heart to Heart is a husband-wife duo from Rutland, Vermont. Ty Naquin and his wife, Lisa Casey-Naquin, began playing music in the community in 2014. They play a mix of cover music, composed of classic rock, country, and light jazz from the 50’s through the 90’s.

They have played many venues in the Rutland area including the Iron Lantern, The State Fair (several years), The Farmer’s Market, Sidewalk Sales, and The Holiday Inn.

Music at The Moose: Tim and Riley Fressie

Music at The Moose: Tim and Riley Fressie

Father and son Tim and Riley Fressie bring their unplugged Americana sound to the porch.

Tim’s approach to music is simple, his uncomplicated unplugged approach applies to tunes you’ve loved for years, and others you might not have heard yet. His “Kitchen Party” vibe goes well with a beverage (or a creemee) and friends. Audiences often stick around for just one more, and we hope you do too.

Music at The Moose: John Lackard Blues Band

Music at The Moose: John Lackard Blues Band

REAL blues you can use!

A sound and style that could easily have come from Memphis or Chicago is perhaps what makes John Lackard and his Green Mountain origin so unique. Not just another trip on the “Blues Bandwagon” that is so ever popular today.

Currently in the process of recording a CD, one of the tracks titled “I Wanna Go Back” can be heard on the compilation album “Best of The Green Mountain Blues Vol. 1.” The future promises a continued extensive touring schedule that previously prompted a radio D.J. to proclaim the John Lackard Blues Band “The Hardest Working Blues Band in New England.”

Music at The Moose: Brendan O’Bryan

Music at The Moose: Brendan O’Bryan

It’s a solo shot this Sunday afternoon for the guitar, harmonica, and vocal talents of Mr. Brendan O’Bryan, self-defined as “a tall, skinny guy, with a goatee, pickin’ out old time blues on his guitar, while singin’, blowin’ harp, and tappin’ his foot on his homemade, Griswold skillet stomper; that’s Brendan O’Bryan. Other than playing rootsy stuff at your local tavern, a few festivals, and, some private engagements, Brendan like keepin’ shoes on the feet, his Irish Whiskey neat, and chicken on the table, ready to eat.”
