Pancake Breakfast Buffet

The members of Hiram Lodge #101, F&AM, and those of Gilman Chapter #88, OES, will be putting on our monthly pancake breakfasts for the public to help with raising funds for our charitable projects.

The menu will include pancakes, French Toast, scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, home fries, corned beef hash, coffee, juice, tea, milk, and whatever else that seems appropriate.

Cost is $9 adults and $3 under 6 years old.

Carving Studio and Sculpture Center Annual Members’ Exhibition Opening Reception

The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center announces their Annual Members’ Exhibition, June 10-July 9, 2017 at the Gallery, 636 Marble Street in West Rutland.

All members of the non-profit arts education organization have the opportunity to show their work in this popular exhibition. An eclectic mix of techniques and media are always represented and artists of all levels have the chance to exchange ideas after the often-solitary winter.

There will be a reception for the artists, open to the public, on Saturday, June 10, 5-7 PM.

Space in the exhibit is limited, so members who plan to participate should let the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center know of their intentions as soon as possible.

Opening Reception- SculptFest 2016

SculptFest 2016- “Forecast Now” – The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center

The Carving Studio and Sculpture Center hosts the opening reception for SculptFest 2016 on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 5-8 PM.

An exciting group of artists will present sculptural installations and performances for SculptFest2016 at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center.

The opening reception for the annual exhibition is scheduled for 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 10.

Proposals were submitted in response to this year’s theme of “Forecast Now.” Guest curator Taylor Apostol selected site-specific works by artists Ray Ciemny, Dalila Bennett, Gordon Wright, Tamara Berdichevsky, Johanna Becerra, Charlie Hickey, Jessica Leete, Desmond Lewis, Chris Miller, Alexander Jose Ramirez, Rick Rothrock and Beth Miller.

The opening reception is free and open to the public, featuring live music by “Swing Noir” and refreshments.

The annual Fine Art Raffle drawing will be held at 7:00.

SculptFest2016 closes October 23.
