While you’re there, visit Green Mountain Trails, 25 miles of a multi-use network of singletrack over varied terrain. The trails are perfect for mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and snowshoeing.
Want something bigger? Pittsfield is home to the Spartan Death Race, created by ultra-athletes who wanted to turn coal into diamonds. To do that they developed a series of ultra-endurance events here in central Vermont.
