Events in the Rutland Region

The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) brings people together all year, from monthly networking mixers to community festivals and workforce events. Browse the calendar below for dates, locations and details.

Monthly mixers. Mixers are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., each hosted by a different business or nonprofit. Drop in any time for food from a local caterer, door prizes and the popular 50/50 drawing. Mixers are open to everyone; you do not need to be a CEDRR member.

Whoopie Pie Festival. This downtown Rutland festival brings whoopie pie vendors from across the Northeast together with food, crafts and live entertainment. The fifth annual festival, on September 12, 2026, welcomed more than 8,000 attendees.

Workforce in Motion Summit. A hands-on day for students, job seekers, employers and educators to explore skilled trades, manufacturing, construction and other in-demand careers. The inaugural summit was held on May 21, 2026 at Vermont State University Castleton.

Annual Celebration and awards. Each fall, CEDRR recognizes outstanding leaders, businesses, volunteers and members from across the region.
