StartUp Rutland, the region’s technology-driven business incubator located at The Hub CoWorks, is pleased to continue our second business education service in partnership with Share Business Growth Strategies, LLC of New England and Florida.
How to Start and Grow a Successful Business is a program with three opportunities for current or would-be small business owners who desire comprehensive knowledge for creating their business plan with a focus on positive cash flow. The program is the brainchild of long-time business consultant and retired bank executive Bruce Share.
The opportunities include:
- No Cost Introductory course which reviews the complete course on business planning and financial modeling on an introductory level. Participants should join this session to get a basic understanding of why they want to complete the course.
- Full 6 session course During the full course, participants will work to understand the importance for good planning, how to develop their business plans and financial pro formas themselves under Bruce’s guidance and will present the plan to fellow participants to a juried panel of business professionals for immediate feedback.
- Juried panels Participants will be given the opportunity to return as often as desired to participate in juried panels. This will allow them to refine their business plans prior to presenting them to sources of capital.
The program’s cost schedule is as follows:
Introductory Class is at no cost to attendees.
The Hub Non-members: $249.99 for the 6-session course and $40.00/person for each additional juried panel beyond the first presentation.
The Hub Members: $199.99 for the 6-session course and $30.00/person for each additional juried panel beyond the first presentation.
Who should attend: Current business owners who feel the need to refine their operations and achieve a higher level of cashflow, and entrepreneurs who desire the right start to their business odyssey. Our program is open to all industries and business sizes; however, it is particularly suited to small and micro business.
Schedule: We will start with an introduction session, which is an overview of the class on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 7:00PM
The full program’s first session will begin on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, and will continue for 6 weeks every Tuesday at 7:00PM.
**Please note that there is no class on Tuesday, July 4th.
