After putting a pause on our regional marketing campaign in March, Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is bringing back these efforts stronger than ever. Increasing our population and marketing our region continues to be a major focus of our work and was identified by our membership as our most important priority in a survey we conducted in September.
With an influx of traffic on our Real Rutland website, our team is ready to help these individuals from across the nation through our concierge service, guiding them through their move to Rutland County to finally “live the life they were meant for.”
The staff of CEDRR is ready to welcome these individuals and families in a safe way and help them navigate their move to Vermont. While the campaign as a whole may have been on pause, the interest in moving to Vermont has only increased. Over the last few months, we’ve generated almost 5,000 leads and we’re gearing up to reengage with these individuals to determine their level of interest in moving to the area and assign them to one of our concierge volunteers.
We currently have a list of over 25 volunteers who are ready to act as a concierge for individuals and families looking to move here. Each of these volunteers has been trained to help welcome them to Rutland County in a safe, virtual way until it is safe to visit with them in person.
One of the most common questions we receive is; “where can I live or stay when I come to Vermont?” In response to this question, CEDRR is compiling a list of available apartments and rental spaces. If you are a landlord or know of available apartments or homes for rent, please reach out to Lyle Jepson at lyle@rutlandeconomy.com.
“We are proud to be working on behalf of Rutland County’s businesses, communities, and families,” said Lyle Jepson, CEDRR’s executive director. “And we look forward to welcoming and assisting the people who will one day call our region ‘home.'”
Communication with our current list of 5,000 leads will begin on November 30, 2020, with the guidance and expertise of LIFT Marketing, our hired advertising agency. Anyone interested in learning more or becoming a concierge volunteer is encouraged to reach out to Kim Rupe at kim@rutlandeconomy.com.
