Hello Rutland Region Chamber Members!
As Spring arrives and the Snack Bar opens, there are so many great things happening here at the Chamber!
Our Regional Marketing Initiative is underway with the research and development phase of Mondo Mediaworks, the fantastic firm from Brattleboro that has been hired to help us with this process. In essence, they are exploring who and what we are as a region. Thanks to all business and community members that have been part of the process. Next will be the strategy creation followed by the formation of the creative content. We should have our first round of messaging out by the beginning of the fall.
This important initiative is a long-term strategy to increase our population. One (of many) of the direct benefits will be a larger pool of potential employees as we hear about the difficulties of finding workers from so many of our members. Our relationship with Killington continues to expand! On Monday, Killington Resort announced many great things that are happening this summer and fall including the return of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup for the next TWO years! We look forward to ways to take advantage of all the economic opportunities that arise when 30,000 people visit the region over two days. We will keep you posted!
Killington Resort is also offering Rutland County residents a GREAT deal for an Adventure Center Pass! If you are a Rutland County resident, you can purchase a SEASON’S PASS for $59 (instead of $179)! I encourage all Rutland County Residents to take advantage of all the wonderful activities offered on our Mountain.
Please consider playing in our golf tournament at the Rutland Country Club in May – a great time to get out and enjoy our beautiful scenery. We are expecting to sell out so don’t delay in signing up your team!
