Downtown Green Up Day

Join the Downtown Rutland Partnership and lend a hand to cleanup Downtown Rutland on Vermont’s Green Up Day. Always the first Saturday in May, this is a special day in Vermont when thousands of volunteers come out in their communities for a massive spring clean up of litter. It is the largest statewide volunteer event in Vermont with over 22,000 taking part, and the only statewide Green Up Day in the United States.

2018 Santa Train

One Day Only, Saturday December 1st Santa Train will be departing the Downtown Rutland Amtrak station for a 45 minute ride that will take you through a magical Santa’s Village. Our beautifully decorated Santa Train will include refreshments, stories, songs and more. No matter the age, this will be the most enjoyable and memorable Christmas experience ever!

There will be 5 different departure times throughout the day: 10am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm and 4:30pm.

2018 Killington 5K Turkey Trot

THE 8TH ANNUAL KILLINGTON 5K TURKEY TROT RUN/WALK

Come out on Thanksgiving, November 22, 2018 and run to support local charities/organizations.

There will be live music and great raffle prizes.  All ages are welcome.

Start time is 9:30am at Jax, 1667 Killington Rd. in Killington.  Pre-registration is $25.  Race day registration is $30.  Race day registration will begin at 8am.
