Audi FIS Ski World Cup is Coming to Killington
The Chamber along with the Downtown Rutland Partnership, Killington Valley Initiative and other area organizations are looking forward to welcoming the 20,000 plus visitors that are expected to be in the area for the World Cup taking place November 26-27 at Killington Resort. We are offering local businesses the opportunity to welcome the World Cup by placing banners with a display at their businesses for only $100. This will draw attention to your business and possibly gain you additional customers that weekend and beyond. Killington Resort proudly hosts the Audi FIS Ski World Cup
This World Cup event will include the women’s giant slalom and slalom races and is expected to bring U.S. Ski Team superstars Julia Mancuso, Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn to compete against the best women’s technical alpine skiers in the world.

If you don’t want to go up into the crowds at the event, you can watch it all from the historic Paramount Theatre on November 26th, 9am-2pm. We would encourage you to stay downtown and do some shopping for Small Business Saturday and enjoy Santa’s Arrival and Tree lighting in Depot Park.
Although the grandstands, VIP Area and preferred parking are now sold out, there will be plenty of free standing room access near the base of the Superstar trail with a jumbo screen for viewing the course. Free parking served by expanded shuttle service will also be available for the entire World Cup weekend, so save the dates, November 26-27, 2016.
